    Lynch Consultants, LLC is seeking outstanding financial consultants for career opportunities within the Federal Government contracting space.  We are a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business providing financial and program management advisory and assistance services to the Federal government. We deliver expertise in the areas of audit preparation and readiness, financial systems analysis and reconciliation, accounting, and budget preparation and execution to our clients. Lynch is actively seeking "Big4"/IPA associates and mangers for professional opportunities to grow our firm serving the Washington D.C metro area, San Diego, CA, and Norfolk, VA .



    Successful candidates will:

    • Establish a vibrant partnership with our Federal and Military Service clients to provide high-impact consulting in support of late-stage Department of Defense (DoD) and Executive Agency FIAR activities
    • Work directly with our clients to perform analysis, provide guidance and recommendations, and directly assist the government to sustain a high-visibility Audit Readiness (AR) program within the DoD
    • Collaorate with exceptionally sharp, motivated, colleagues and team partners to perform meaningful tasks
    • Shape, develop, and lead business verticals for Lynch Consultants


    • A minimum of 4-6 years of "Big 4"/IPA professional experience related to Federal accounting or financial management, audit, program management, or business process improvement; U.S. Federal government consulting experience required (DoD experience is preferred)
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
    • Experience with General Ledger closing cycle, inventory control management, and/or treasury and financial reporting
    • Knowledge of OMB circulars and bulletins, GAAP, FASAB, FAR, and/or USSGL requirements and guidelines
    • Strong analytical skills, including: analyzing large data sets, trend analysis, identification and resolution of risks and issues, developing mitigation plans to address identified risks
    • Knowledge of and experience with working with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) or Financial Improvement Program (FIP) guidance
    • Experience with working with and extracting large data sets
    • Author, develop, staff, and revise user’s manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to accounting and finance specific processes and systems
    • Coordinate with clients to develop guidance and procedures
    • Analyze data and transform information into presentable and actionable management
    • Direct experience with SAP-based systems, to include functional users, configuration management and/or programmers
    • Knowledge/experience with SQL is a plus
    • Analyze data and transform information into presentable and actionable activities for management consumption
    • Experience using data analytic software, such as Tableau and/or Alteryx
    • Desired Certifications: CGFM, CDFM, PMP, CISA
    • Preference for CPA, CIA, related certifications
    • Strong MS Office Suite experience (advanced MS Excel and Access experience preferred)


    Security Requirement: SECRET security clearance preferred
